Summer is well and truly with us and Australians are turning to sun, sea, sand and sex... outdoor sex that is!


/Dating - Singles News Articles/ - SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, January 22, 2008 - New survey results released by EROS Essentials, Australia's premium personal lubricant, have revealed that almost 80% of Australians have had sex outside with the majority (75%) agreeing that outdoor sex is spontaneous and thrilling.
Surprisingly, those aged 35-39 are far more adventurous when it comes to outdoor action with 84% having partaken compared to only 66% of 18 - 24 year olds. Similarly, those in the older age bracket are significantly more likely to have had sex in a car, in the bush or in a park!

In fact as many as 39% of adults have had sex outdoors at least once, with another 20% admitting to al fresco sex between six and ten times. Men tend to be friskier with 23% having had amorous experiences outside more than ten times compared to 14% of women, which begs the question - who are the men are having sex with!
The EROS Essentials survey also reveals that Australians are doing it everywhere when it comes to al fresco romantic interludes. Nearly 70% of those surveyed have had sex in a car and other popular locations include the backyard (45%), the beach (44%), the bush or forest (43%), a park (35%) and in a field (18%).

According to John-Michael Mancini, CEO of SASMAR, the producers of EROS Essentials, "People are becoming more open about their sexual needs and more demanding about having great sex. There seems to be a positive trend towards experimentation, and a growing number of Australians are open to discovering new places for a more fulfilling experience."

Things are certainly changing in Australia - not only is outdoor sex becoming the norm, but so is using personal lubricant. Around 3.9 million Australians 18-39 year olds (62%) use a personal lubricant to spice up their sexual activity - with frequent users of lubricants more likely to be younger: 15% of 18-24 year olds use it always or most of the time compared to 6% of 35-39 year olds.
