"He told me, "You've just got to get out there, Aunty", and pointed to the front door. So, I'm heeding his advice, taking Leap Year by the horns and getting 'out there'."

These days Tarsh is out there in cyberspace after the prelaunch of www.christianmatchmaker.co.nz. She says the website is a meeting place for Christian singles to meet and maybe find future marriage partners. "I'm hopeful that The Meeting Place will help Christian singles connect with others who share their faith and have complimentary goals in life."

The membership based site is offering no joining fees to new members who sign up before the official launch at Easter. "I'm encouraging people to sign up and give it a go. It's Leap Year after all - anything can happen," she says.

The site has a distinctive New Zealand flavour but is open to single Christians from anywhere around the globe. Tarsh hopes the site will be a space for members to share, laugh, inspire, and encourage one another.

"It's more than just finding someone it's about finding a whole community of singles that are taking leaps of faith for love every day. This is just another one."
