Miss Cougar Arizona Contest Featured at Convention, Saturday, November 21, 2009, at the Mondrian Hotel in Scottsdale AZ
Singles are invited to learn why Younger Men/Older Women is the ideal romantic combination.
SAN RAFAEL, CA, November 04, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cougars from throughout Arizona are invited to compete for the title of Miss Cougar Arizona at the first-ever Arizona Cougar Convention, Saturday, November 21, 2009, at the Mondrian Hotel, 7353 E Indian School Road, Scottsdale AZ 85251. Cubs (younger men) in attendance will vote for the winner.
"Age discrimination is perhaps the most pervasive prejudice in American Society," says Rich Gosse, Keynote Speaker at the convention. "Older women, in particular, are victimized by our youth-oriented society. They are regarded as 'non-sexy'. Supposedly every American male is only attracted to nubile 20 year olds found in the centerfolds of men's magazines. The truth is that there are millions of American men who find older women attractive, and we will prove it at the Arizona Cougar Convention!
"While the prejudice against older women is obvious," says Mr. Gosse, "discrimination against younger men is also pervasive in our society. Most women have an IRRATIONAL bias against younger men. Foolishly they prefer older men, who are less plentiful. Since men are the weaker sex and die five years earlier than women, on average, any woman who marries an older man is likely choosing to be a widow. How silly!
"Cougars tell me that younger men are better because:
1. They are more fun and have more energy.
2. They are better-looking.
3. They are more likely to treat women as equals, because they were raised in a more liberated era than their older counterparts.
4. Best of all, they don't need Viagra."
Rich Gosse is America's foremost authority on finding a romantic partner. He is the author of eight books on this topic, including You CAN Hurry Love, Singles Guide to America, and A Good Man Is EASY to Find ("This is a great book!" Oprah Winfrey). His entertaining advice has been featured by ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, CNBC, Fox News Live, MSNBC, Oprah, Donahue, Cosmopolitan, Newsweek, Entrepreneur, Business Week, Playboy, Playgirl, The Wall Street Journal, London Times, The Australian, The New Zealand Herald, etc. Mr. Gosse is available to the news media for interviews by calling 415/479-3800. Adults of all ages are welcome. The cost for the California Cougar Convention is $20 at the door. Dressy attire is requested.
The highpoint of the Convention will be the Miss Cougar Arizona Contest. One cougar at the convention will be awarded the title and prizes. The winner will be a woman who is present at the Convention, legally single, and at least 40 years of age.
The Convention's doors open at 7pm. The Keynote Address: "Why Younger Men Are Better," is at 7:30pm. The Grand Finale is a giant dance party, 9pm-1am. At approximately 11pm, one cougar will be crowned Miss Cougar Arizona.
